European Hamsters should be kept as a pet

My reasoning is simple. A lot of today's pets were once wild and not considered to be tame or were not thought to make good pets. I'm sure Syrians started off along the same lines and ferrets weren't always the friendliest. Nowadays, it's hard to find a aggressive ferret b/c most are very tame and sweet! I'm sure with several generations of dometic breeding and frequent handling from a early age, the Euro Hamsters can too become great pets in the future! I personally would love to own and breed them.
